If you have ever been unfortunate enough to have someone steal your stuff, you can appreciate what this software can do. Lets face it, in today's economy everything cost more money and when those things are taken, it can put a financial strain as well as emotional. I recall very well how angry I was when my car was broken into and my Kindle was stolen. It was months ago, however just thinking back on that event, still angers me a bit. I would have loved to have this software available to me at that time.Just knowing now that I can track down my lost phone, tablet, iPad etc if it happens again, is a comfort. If anyone is familiar with the find my iPhone app on the iPhone, iPad,and iPod touch this is a very similar product from systematic who's norton line of products have been proven trustworthy for many years. I personally been using Norton products since the days of windows 95. I was really glad to know of this product. I use the Norton anti virus on my tablet phone and laptop now I have more peace of mind knowing that I am protected against theft. If your device is stolen you simply go online lock the item down and then every 10 minutes Norton will start taking pictures with a webcam available on your device to see who's using it. It will also find the exact location using wifi GPS satellites. I've checked it out online took a picture of myself the person who has taken my tablet this time it worked quite well. Peace of Mind for portable devices a small price to pay. Will make the job of police easier...like all insurance something you never want to have to use. |
