I purchased this because Graco does not manufacture an extra base specifically for the Snugride 30, and the packaging advertises that this base is compatible with it. However, as several other reviewers have noted, this is only partially the case. Although the car seat does lock into the base, there is no level indicator on the base to allow you to determine whether the car seat is properly angled. For those who own the Snugride 35, the level indicator is on the car seat itself, but the Snugride 30 relies on a level indicator on its base. After browsing the internet for solutions, I have found that it is possible to "eyeball" the angle by using the red line on the side of my car seat, but this really doesn't seem adequate. The level indicator provides convenience and certainty that you have installed the seat right, whereas the red line method is less exact and a hassle. Moreover, Graco does not provide any... What a mistake, not only is there no level but there are no instructions on how to level it without one. Even using a household level you still need to know the proper incline (they don't just sit flat). We could have lived with being off a few degrees, but when we tested the seat in the base it wobbled... A LOT. Not something that is very comforting to put your little one in. To top it off, it kept getting stuck in the base when we tried to remove it, I can only imagine how frustrating that would have been if there was a baby in it and it wouldn't unlatch.None of these things are an issue when placed in the original base made specifically for the Snugride 30. It is not reasonable to expect miracles from beauty products. Not only do we usually want the results, we want them yesterday! I've been using this product for several months now on dark spots and have found that while the spots are not gone, they are certainly reduced considerably. My skin tone is improved and this is the only product that has yielded results for me. That said, everyone is unique and therefore what works for me may not for you. The serum is light weight and pleasant in odor. It goes onto the skin without tugging and is easily absorbed - and - for me - works! However, I was not consistent with its use, so I could not tell a difference. I recently started using this product again. Six days ago to be exact. You see, I have had acne since I was twelve, so I have plenty of "dark" spots that need to be lightened. I have one spot in particular on the left side of my face where I had a group of pimples that became infected and left a horrible spot. I was even asked by a family member if I had ring worm on my face. It was very embarrassing. Like I said, I started using this product again almost a week ago, and the spot has already reduced tremendously!! After only six days! I can already tell a difference in my overall skin tone and my face even feels softer. My skin is normally VERY sensitive and prone to break-outs, but I have not had a problem with that with the Even Better Spot... This product does work! I have had dark spots throughout my childhood. This is the only product that has done the job after years of trying other products. The dark spots are still there but certainly have diminished! However you do need to use an oil free SPF of 30 (try Murad) in conjunction with this product and use continously for 6-8 weeks to see results. This product currently sells for $49.50 at Macy's rather than the $60+ price on amazon. |
