The quality of the video is pretty darn good. It is easy to install. Just plug and play with Skype. The only downside is that it only works with Samsung Smart TV's. Even though it is a USB camera, it does not work with PC's or MAC's. I already have an inbuilt camera in my PC so I do not really care. Literally, plug in the camera to the USB slot on the TV and you're DONE. Positioning the camera takes a little trial and error, but it certainly isn't hard to do. The one thing I would like to see as an improvement is a way to *mount* the camera under the television along its bottom edge. Currently, you only have the option to "clip" it over the top, and in my configuration (set is wall mounted at 5' high, in a kitchen), it makes it very hard to choose the perfect viewing angle to accommodate the adults and the children for Skype usage. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful Easy setup...works well, June 19, 2012 This review is from: Samsung VG-STC2000 Skype TV Camera (2012 Models) (Electronics) Purchased this skype camera for our recently purchased 2012 Samsung Plasma TV. Simple to install...plug it in and it's ready to go. The camera is barely visibly sitting on top the tv, it's smaller than I thought it would be. Picture quality seems fine, per comments from folks we talked to. I do wish it had a zoom, but it works well. Now we can be watching TV and answer skype calls without turning on the computer and sitting in front of a monitor.
