It has bluetooth and a USB for your IPOD/IPHONE whiche once connected let's you control your musics from the receiver. What I wish however is that the songs could be controlled thru the apple device because apple device navigation is so much better than the receiver. Maybe there is a way to do this that I have not found out yet. You can also change the color of the receiver controls and text and that is a great feature. The colors really come alive at night but during daytime it is extremely hard to see the colors or read the text.. almost impossible.. if there is a specific color that works best for daytime, i have some exploring to do. The sound quality is awesome, loud and clear at peak volume. The bluetooth feature works perfectly, no issues there. Next time i will look for a receiver that I can control the ipod/iphone music selection directly from the apple dvice instead of the car audio and also one that the text is easy to see in daylight. 11 of 14 people found the following review helpful  Bluetooth works badly, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Pioneer DEH-6400BT CD receiver with AM/FM tuner, built-in Bluetooth, USB, AUX & Remote Control (Electronics) I have a Android DroidX phone and the 6400BT bluetooth works very poorly. The microphone works intermittently. The boothtooth audio playback works sometimes. Its an awful bluetooth experience. The phone works fine with ear pieces but not with this receiver.If you are looking for hands free calling look elsewhere. There is more. I use the USB and there is no way to create a playlists. The files and folders do not work in alphabetical order they work on the time/date they are created. It makes managing the playback difficult. I gave the unit two stars because sound is good and the USB playback works. It has a Bluetooth speakerphone that people say they cant tell i'm on speaker phone when i'm driving with the windows up. The unit also can play the music from your phone via Bluetooth. Both the phone and the Bluetooth music stream will auto connect and can be set to auto answer incoming calls also, which I love! The radio shows all the Radio station info song name band name and call tag of station the iPad or USB port charges and allows the unit to display song names and info. JUST FYI the Bluetooth WILL NOT DISPLAY THE SONG ARTIST INFO because this is a new use for Bluetooth and most USB devices are Headphones and don't display this info yet so look for that change in future Bluetooth versions but Bluetooth ver 3 is what we have today.
